MP and I are back from our journey to Antarctica. Words and pictures cannot do this trip justice; they can only begin to describe how extraordinary our adventure was, how spectacularly beautiful Antarctica is, how amazing it was to be so close to penguins, whales, and seals, how special it was to walk on the White Continent and to zoom around gorgeous blue icebergs in zodiacs.
I took many thousands of photographs on our trip. I am still going through them. My intent here is to put up a series of posts, with photos, from the beginning of our trip, in Buenos Aires, through our daily adventures in Antarctica, and our return through Ushuaia. I will also comment on what worked for us, in terms of gear, in the event this may be useful to others considering such a trip.
I am still taking it all in . . . It was, without question, the most amazing adventure we have ever had.
